Check Current Version

Launch the game and check the version number on the main menu or in settings

Download Correct Update

Find the update that matches your current version in the "Requires Version" column

Close Game Completely

Ensure Dispatch is not running in the background before installing updates

Run Update Installer

Execute the downloaded update file and follow the installation wizard

Verify Installation

Launch the game and confirm the new version number is displayed

Test Your Game

Load your save file and ensure everything works correctly

Important: Always back up your save games before applying updates. Save location: %USERPROFILE%/AppData/Local/Dispatch/Saved/SaveGames

If you're running an older version, you may need to install updates in sequence:

Base Game → v1.0.14955 (24 Oct) → v1.0.15103 (29 Oct) → v1.0.15487 (5 Nov) → v1.0.16218 (12 Nov)

Always install updates in chronological order for best compatibility.

Update won't install: Make sure you have the correct base version and the game is completely closed
Save games missing: Check the save location and ensure you backed up your files
Game crashes after update: Try verifying game files or reinstalling the base game
Version mismatch: You may need to install intermediate updates first
